New York Fashion Week Fall 2018 just wrapped up and with it's conclusion comes the forecasting of next season’s trends.

From colorful furry coats to shoulder-sweeping earrings, there were several recurring fashions that came down multiple designer runways.

Here, FEMAIL highlights the top fifteen. Get a pen and paper ready.

1. PLAID LIKE YOU'VE NEVER SEEN IT: Tartan fabrics are commonly used to create classic, everyday garments, but this week we admired fresh iterations of the checked print thanks to designers like Prabal Gurung, Vivienne Tam and Jonathan Simkhai.

2. TASTE THE RAINBOW OF FURRY COATS: Christina Siriano, Zadig & Voltaire and Tibi are just a few labels to incorporate faux-fur outerwear in bright, eye-catching colors into their fall/winter 2018 collections. Style tip: the bolder the hue, the more it goes with.

Lady in red: Ashley Graham opened the Christian Siriano show in this floor-length coat and not much else

ROYGBIV coats: Michael Kors (leeft) , Zadig & Voltaire (center) and Tibi (right) are just a few designers that incorporated soft, faux-fur outerwear in vibrant hues into their fall/winter 2018 collections

3. DON'T GO FOR THE GOLD, EMBRACE SILVER: From leather skirts to paper-bag pants and evening dresses, shiny silver garments took top honors at Sally LaPointe, Cushnie Et Ochs, Tibi and more. Like black or white, metallic colors are neutrals that can be styled with just about anything.

Shimmer in style: As a black leather skirt is so basic, Tibi will offer one in silver

4. BECAUSE BIGGER IS USUALLY BETTER: While smaller patterns tend to be more slimming, that didn't stop Tory Burch, Tibi and Claudia Li from using statement prints in their lineup of dresses. Offset the prints by accessorizing them with solid colored shoes.

5. SHOULDER-SWEEPING EARRINGS: Prabal Gurung, Tom Ford and Zadig & Voltaire accessorized their fall 2018 collections with over-the-top jewelry. Not since the '80s have such bold ear accoutrements looked so cool on the runways.

7. THE MOST ROMANTIC COLOR PALETTE: They sit next to each other on the color wheel so it's no surprise that pink and red are a winning color combo that Brandon Maxwell, Self Portrait, Prabal Gurung and Tibi all used in their collections.

9. LIKE YOUR FAVORITE COMFORTER, ONLY BETTER: Though quilted bags are nothing particularly revolutionary, the bomber jackets, skirts, and tops that came down the week's catwalks of Nicole Miller, Derek Lam, Oscar de la Renta and Prabal Gurung breathe new life into the texture.
